Kockum Design has an affinity for classic European design elements in harmony with Scandinavian minimalism and contemporary design. Through an obsession over details, craftsmanship and cohesion – we appreciate spaces steeped in timeless character alongside a distinctive edge.
Hailing from Sweden, Henriette’s aesthetic stems from Scandinavian minimalism. Through a passion for creative expression, she gained a B.A. in Art History at The American University of Paris. While living in Paris, she developed an admiration for vintage furniture and interior design.
She decided to study Interior Design at Parsons School of Design in New York City, and has since lived and worked in London and San Francisco.
Henriette has designed restaurants, hotels, spas, workspaces, and homes for companies such as Interior Marketing Group, Selldorf Architects, Soho House & Co, WeWork and Blueground. Her current venture is designing hotels and hospitality projects for boutique hotel firm, Life House.
Currently based in Austin, Texas, Henriette runs a small design studio for private and commercial work. She's also active on social media and her blog, Design Talk.
